Tested out the "Guild Miner" Class ship I built, the copy and pasted version the "Guild Miner Proto" as it has propulsion thrusters and some enhancements that were just installed to get it in to place to test the drilling systems, additional Drills added to front, but beyond that, the rear systems are just temporary.

Built a couple small Shuttle/Pod craft, one for maintenance and defense of the Guild Miner, and a 2nd variation with slightly more traditional landing/docking gear.

built a mine/outpost, used the Guild Miner to drill a hole, wasn't as effective as I had hoped, or at least not as fast, Moved it out of the way, and let the Muad'Dib take a crack at it, much MUCH faster and better, so larger hole, with slightly smaller hole bored out. Built a small basic manual labor mine in bottom, which evolved into a larger facility with 2 distinct halves. One is open, and accessible to outside, and a conveyor/docking boom/gantry, the other half is the actual mine, sealed/enclosed to capture all ore mines, using gravity field generators and manipulating fields to collect ore into collector units. Also a fairly sizable amount of small cargo containers in the mine to store up ore. As well as a Rotating Boom with Solar panels and batteries for back up power.

The Sand Rat is the Maintenance/Defensive Pod, the Sand Rat II is the 2nd iteration of it with 4 landing feet/gear.

The Tunnel Rat evolved from a different machine I was trying to use inside the mine to speed things up, eventually evolved into its own dedicated mining pod outside the mine.

Its not a fast or maneuverable as the Sand Rat, nor does it have any offensive/defensive weapon systems, or sensors, only what it needs for mining, thats it, its sole purpose is to mine or create tunnels, though the Laser drills can make quick work of armor on ships too, but its in no way designed for combat, even though it can take a beating from banging around in tunnels, and full frontal impact collisions quite well.

Also modified the Muad'Dib with better forward and rear firing thrusters, little enhancement in forward momentum as well as decelerating from higher built speeds too.
