It's kind of a role-playing adventure with turn based combat. There's exploring, crafting, also diplomacy with prison gangs and other prisoners. You move around the prison via rogue-like style maps. You can recruit rats to your personal team and maybe even prisoners, although the later is purely an assumption. I'm happy with the detail, depth and features, I just wish the game was quicker to play; it just takes too much time and effort to do everything. Maybe the UI, UX and the in-game daily play loop is too cumbersome and awkward. There are no QOL (Quality Of Life) implementation. Not a hard difficulty game, just a hard game to play. Apart from that, game optimization seems needed in the cellblock area as frame-rate would drop by ten percent or is that a memory leak?
