The 'humans' from Out of this World want Buck to transport some monoliths, but the monoliths have a tendency to generate electromagnetic storms which disable shields, anti-missile systems, and ion cannons. Depending on when the storm hits can really mess you up, but the good news is that Buck's ship isn't the only one effected.
