Thanks to @McAllik I discovered one can have Astarion cast Speak With The Dead on Gandrel, the Gur Monster Hunter, to FIND OUT IMPORTANT PLOT POINTS.

If you want to do this, make sure Astarion is NOT part of the party that kills Gandrel, as normally corpses won't speak to those who killed them. Although I was able to cast it as Tav and she killed him so.... I dunno. Also make sure Gandrel dies in a state in which he can speak (not charred or ruined by fire or acid).

I've included Tav casting the spell so you can see what the regular options would be (and their answers), but Astarion is first because HE gets SPECIAL questions to ask.

Which leads us to WHO THE BLEEP IS MAIDEN FEL??? **so excited**
