This starts out terribly CUTE with Astarion ("I DRANK A BEAR!") being blood-drunk. Then FUNNY - "ooh, you meant pet bunnies". Then heartbreaking, as he rejects the notion of there being good in this world that saves people, because no one saved him for two hundred years. It's a very interesting dialogue exchange, with great character depth (especially helpful for fic writing). AND I LOVE IT.
