Bethesda Softworks and id Software collaborated on the development of Doom Eternal, the fifth game in the FPS series of Doom, and the sequel to Doom (2016). In this game, players are once again the Doom Slayer who battles the demon forces of Hell. In this game, pushing forward is the primary form of combat, and the goal is acquiring health, ammunition, and armor by engaging enemies aggressively.
