DESCRIPTION: Welcome to Part 33 of “Old Features Call of Duty hasn’t had in Years”. Today’s feature is Spec Ops. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was the first COD game to introduce the Special Ops mode as an extra game mode. Spec Ops was a co-op mode that could be played solo or with a friend, and you would have to complete mini missions that were derived from the games’ campaign. The OG Spec Ops in MW2 and MW3 were really fun, had a good variety of gameplay and were amazing for speedrunning. Infinity Ward brought back Spec Ops in Modern Warfare 2019 and Modern Warfare II, but it lacks the charm and original intent of the iconic mode from MW2. I’d love to see them take another shot at brining back the classic Spec Ops we all remember from 2009!
