The GTX 1080 Ti was a more important card than it may seem on paper. Occupying the majority of NVIDIA's sales to our viewers in 2018, if the 1080 Ti were a new GPU company, it alone would take majority marketshare. On AMD's side of things, the 480 and 580 series were its most popular series, illustrating strong points in the company's portfolio, but also weak points -- namely the obvious one, the high-end, where AMD has historically lacked competing hardware. This video looks at AMD and NVIDIA sales volume of video cards through our viewer-base.

Links to Amazon and Newegg are typically monetized on our channel (affiliate links) and may return a commission of sales to us from the retailer. This is unrelated to the product manufacturer.
