AMD's 50th Anniversary R7 2700X Gold Edition deserved some testing, even though AMD didn't claim it to be binned or higher clocked.

The AMD R7 2700X Gold Edition is AMD's 50th Anniversary CPU. It's a modified 2700X, with the only modifications of note being the IHS and its logo change to "AMD 50," accompanied by a laser-etched signature by Lisa Su. The R7 2700X doesn't claim a higher frequency or any changes, but we still had hopes for higher overclocking than our other models. We tested overclocking headroom on the 2700X Gold Edition, undervolting, and proved the point that frequency is the same as on the original 2700X. The main benefit, it would seem, comes from the inclusion of The Division 2 season passes.
