Here's my first attempt at an unboxing video, and it's a very special occasion (for me, at least): Shin Sakura Taisen (New Sakura Wars)!
This just came out in Japan and I preordered a special edition copy from AmiAmi. (www.amiami.com)
By the way, this shipped on Friday night (Saturday in Japan) and got here Tuesday afternoon! They don't mess around!
I've been a big Sakura Wars fan for a while now. It's a series with a great tone and setting, excellent music, and amazing production values. The fifth one, So Long My Love, came out here in the U.S. in 2010, I think, and I got a copy and loved it.
I had a Japanese Saturn and a copy of Sakura Wars 1 & 2 for that, and I liked them a lot, too. At this point, I can't remember the order in which I played 5, 2, and 1... I just know I enjoyed them all.
Since then, I've been collecting lots of Sakura Wars merch. Games, mostly, but all used stuff (since 5 was already out).
When I found out that SEGA was working on a new Sakura Wars game, I just had to get it!
The AmiAmi edition comes with a little diorama, too!
