Spellbreak Gameplay with Written Review
17 kill game but choked at the end. He had the high ground and i couldnt get up there.
My Review:
After playing about 30 games or so of Spellbreak I can honestly say if I paid $50 for this game id be really mad. It's just not fun enough to warrant $50 price tag. With that said, its a beautiful toon shaded game. Spell casting is fun. The way spells interact with each other is clever, but it still doesnt make up for how bad the first impression of the game is. It's SO punishing.
It's funny because I brought this up in their discord and it was unanimous among the vets that they werent interested in balancing or lowing the skill gap for new players because they dont think the game would be fun anymore if they did. Pretty much the only replay factor is steam rolling noobs.
The world just doesnt need another BR game. And this game, imho is wasted potential.
