Here's a list of all 36 'Monsters' you can see on your list (Book of Sphinx). They appear in the same order here as they do on Montu's 'Sell monsters' option.

a few notes

▪︎ Contrary to popular belief, NONE of the monsters are missable for donating to the Museum. If you kill all Piranhas and Exo-Piranhas, they will despawn, but if you did that without capturing them, the Abydosian Guard will simply give you one of each. That's the game's failsafe for making sure you have at least 1 Piranha and 1 Exo-Piranha to donate. And there's no risk of accidentally selling them, as Montu won't accept Piranhas and Exo-Piranhas.

▪︎ Fire Armadillos and Slim Burbles are the ONLY two monsters you can use as weapons, which is why they're the only ones with those icons left of their name. That's the icon you see in-game when you open up your weapons menu.

▪︎ You can have up to 10 of each. The only exceptions are Chihuahuas (up to 3, as no more exist), and the Goofy Lizard (only one, as no more exist). Piranhas and Exo-Piranhas are thought of as limited, but if you capture all but one and reload the area, they will spawn again, which is how I had 10 Piranhas and 10 Exo-Piranhas. Only when you kill all 5 consecutively, without reloading the area, do you get the relevant notification that makes them permanently despawn.

▪︎ Chihuahuas are the only 'Monster' you can capture that is already at the museum, so you can't donate it. Nor can you sell it, as Montu hates dogs. You HAVE to capture 3 Chihuahuas as part of the story, and you HAVE to return them to their owner (to initiate the 5th Mummy level), which is why the game won't let you donate them, or sell them, or hold on to them indefinitely. So this is literally the only moment in the story I could record this video in.

▪︎ Piranhas, Exo-Piranhas, Chihuahuas and the Goofy Lizard are the only 4 Monster types that you can't sell to Montu; he won't accept them. So there's no risk of accidentally losing a monster. Montu will happily buy any other monster though.

Since some of those can only be obtained in the first place by buying them from Montu at a higher price, selling them is a waste of scarabs.
