My Spidey sense is tingling! This month I take a retrospective look at PS1 hit Spider-Man! Does the web-wielding wall-crawler still weave a worthy wander through his so-called friendly neighbourhood?
Surprisingly, the game holds up well, even despite subsequent games in the Spidey franchise that have vastly improved the gameplay mechanics. Swinging and slinging from level to level, Spidey thwarts a bank heist, saves J Jonah Jameson, outruns a police chopper, and even manages to escape the chilling tones of Stevie Wonder!
