Spider the Video Game - Game Over Cutscene
4Sadly, Spider Kelly has been defeated by the enemies he had to face, leaving his human body in the hands of MicroTech. MicroTech's surgeons try to remove the broadcaster unit for MicroTech to steal, but also to presumably keep Dr Kelly alive so he can continue work on the technology against his will (hence why the woman told the gunman at the beginning to stop after he is shot).
One of the surgeon's declares "The broadcaster unit is fused to the skull. I can't take this off." Realising that there is no way to remove it whilst keeping Dr Kelly alive, MicroTech's boss orders his henchwoman to "just cut it off".
