Spiderwebs - No Doubt Guitar FC (Guitar Hero On Tour) Nintendo DS HD Gameplay
My Thoughts On The Song/Chart: Despite appearing in the first tier on this DS Spin Off, this song can certainly catch you off guard with the ending trills (even if they aren't as bad as the GHWT Taps)
Also the song is quite lengthy for the first tier and the game overall, i remember when i first bought this game when it came out, this was the first song i played where the cramping started that the Guitar Grip is notable for causing.
Also this was my first video in a while recording the DS GH Games after taking a break, IIRC the first on tour game is very funky regarding SP activations due to the lack of a dedicated "Microphone only" activation feature that the other DS games have. I use a specific lua script for this game and i'm not exactly sure how to adjust GHOT for this,
i refuse to download the more mainstream method of using a Guitar controller on the Emu that A Wise Moose popularized, nothing wrong with it, but i just prefer less bloat when dealing with this game due to having a weaker PC system. The other On Tour Games and Band Hero DS are not affected by this.
I hope one day it becomes possible to play the On Tour games on "MelonDS" more easily, as that emulator i feel is much more optimized for this game in some cases.
Song Facts:
"Spiderwebs" is a song by American band No Doubt for their third studio album, Tragic Kingdom (1995). It was written by Gwen Stefani and Tony Kanal, produced by Matthew Wilder, and released as the album's second single on November 19, 1995. "Spiderwebs" appears on their 2003 greatest hits album, The Singles 1992–2003. Stefani was inspired to write the song after an admirer recited bad poetry to her. "Spiderwebs" is a ska punk song with angsty lyrics responding to Stefani's potential suitors.
"Spiderwebs" received positive reviews from contemporary as well as past critics, who frequently called it as one of the defining songs for No Doubt. "Spiderwebs" was not released as a commercial single in the United States, therefore making it ineligible to enter the Billboard Hot 100 chart at the time of its release. However, it reached number 18 on the Hot 100 Airplay chart. The song failed to attain top-ten positions but charted within the top 40 in Canada, New Zealand, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
No Doubt, and Stefani individually, has performed the song in a number of live appearances, including during the group's 1995–97 Tragic Kingdom World Tour, at the 39th Annual Grammy Awards in 1997, and at Stefani's 2018–20 Las Vegas Just a Girl concert residency.
