Spin down time before and after lubricating the bearings
1I took the motor apart to lubricate the bearings and i'm glad to see it wasn't a waste of time. Wish these motors had an oil wick and oil port, it would make it so much easier. I got this fan from an estate sale with another one, and this one wouldn't spin, i had to spin it by hand to get the shaft unstuck and it was fine after awhile of use.
