Hello and welcome to the first (but hopefully not the last) collab with the fantastic Japkozjad! I was approached by him a while back to throw down some vocals on a song he was working on, and overall, I think it turned out very well! Japkozjad is a seriously talented dude who I've wanted to work with for a good while, and I'm so happy we finally managed to make it happen!
This song is a dive into the feelings of bittersweet nostalgia that we all sometimes face, and how we can struggle to overcome our sometimes all-consuming desire to return to a past kept fondly in our memories. This theme hits home for me, as I'm especially prone to taking long nostalgia trips and reminiscing frequently about the past. Here's hoping that some of you can relate, and that you can enjoy the track regardless!
