This song is from the perspective of Sweetie Bot, as she attempts to contemplate the reasons why she gave up mortality and understand the implications of living forever. It seems that no mind, whether natural or artificial, can understand infinity and all that it entails, and in her struggle to understand and come to terms with her circumstances, she suffers greatly.
On a *much* lighter note, this song's title is based on one of my favorite band's songs of the same name! (Believer - Ego Machine)
