Richard Sharpe wants you to stick a loaded musket in your mouth. DO NOT do that. It's one of the worst historical inaccuracies I've ever seen- it's so bad that it actually becomes dangerous when people try to recreate it! So-called "spitloading" makes zero sense, is actively very unsafe, and of course, there's absolutely no evidence to suggest it ever occurred. In this video, I talk about why.
