Taxes were obviously a pretty big part of the American Revolution- but why? Well, the popular conception often cites the insane amounts of debt the British found themselves in after the Seven Years War. They had fought a massive war to secure America- and now, it was time for the Americans to pay their fair share of the bill! But in this video, I explain why this was far from the case- as not a single penny of American money went towards paying British debts!
