Hey Sammies, part time Sammies - and those who barely touch Salmon Run but would like to have the Octoleet Gear but grinding 2400 Bronze Scales feels like a life time task. =)
Let's create a dedicated farming pool together and set up some rules to have it work without communication.
Pool name: OctoleetFarmingYT
How does it work?
Get a full lobby via the pool (or if you have your own friend group) and throw 5 games by jumping right away into the water.
This fills your Salmometer quickly.
Play the 6th game and you'll have a guaranteed King since everyone in that lobby is full.
Repeat if you want to and have time.
One full cycle takes about 15 minutes.
Which means up to 4 cycles per hour are possible.
39 Scales are the maximum if you defeat the King with 30+ seconds remaining = up to 156 Scales.
Since we want to reach a big playerbase including inexperienced player, please demote to Go-Getter to have lower Kings health.
The lower your rank/Hazard Level the lower the Kings healthpoints therefore the easier to defeat with a max of 13 Scales.
From Overachiever (60% Harzardlevel upwards) the Kings health is already maxed out.
Quota of 11 indicates full HP., so the Quota should be at max 10. (the lower the better)

If you join a pool and reqruit players everyone on your friendlist (you arent invisible to) can join the lobby and you might end up having a mixed lobby which leads to interruptions or losses for unaware player.
A password should prevent this situation.
DON'T drag Freelancer - even if they are just low ranks - into the throwing cycle.
Only throw with a FULL team (or if you have use a 2nd Switch and alt account)
In the sped up Video it's been actually only a friend and I who beat Megalodontia with 2 idled Switches/Alt Accounts.
Don't be a partypooper who prolongs the throwing cycle by unnecessary reviving others.
If you wanna fool with your special - throw it into the sea.
Booyah and Inkjet are also rather prolonging the cycle.
You'll get mostly Bronze, here and there can Silver scales drop.
Gold scales are not to expect, but after all not impossible.
