2I am playing through the Side Order in Splatoon 3 on the Nintendo Switch.
As Agent 8, you wake up to discover Inkopolis Square has been drained of colour and its residents have gone missing. Alongside Pearl, one-half of the musical duo Off the Hook – who is now a drone – ascend the floors of the Spire of Order and strengthen your abilities as you climb the tower in a single-player experience that’s designed to be replayed over and over!
As you ascend the spire, more difficult objectives and enemies will attempt to block your path. Use the colour chips you receive to customise your Palette to your liking with enhancements such as increased firing speed, raised damage output, Pearl Drone upgrades and more!
Fail to reach the top and you'll have to start over. However, the color chips you collect will be converted into a currency that can be exchanged for some permanent upgrades. Those upgrades might just give you a fighting chance of reaching the top next time around. What awaits you at the peak?
