Splatoon 3 - Towering Tower Control Replays
1After a bit of a break here's more Splatoon 3! For a while now I've mostly written off Challenges, not liking the very limited timeframes for most of them, on top of some themes not being that interesting to me. But THIS time we had a very interesting change-up with somewhat decent time periods to actually play it, so let's review some replays shall we?
Towering Tower Control gives us a MUCH bigger tower, both far taller AND wider. An entire team (or two) can battle it out on top, while others can lay in wait from the bottom as they attempt to ride it to the goal. Other than that, the mode is mostly the same, but this definitely led to a fun twist on what is probably my least-favorite of the ranked modes...other than Clam Blitz...but we don't talk about Clam Blitz here.
BTW, I'm bewildered by the sudden losing of my crab at both 28:00 AND 25:09 but in reviewing footage...it seems like that Hydra Splatling just ate through my armor like it wasn't even there. So fast I didn't even notice in the moment! Object Shredder is scary.
