Splatoon will release on may 29th exclusively on the Wii U. It contains unique gameplay in quick 4 versus 4 matches. There is a wide array of weapons you can choose from and gear to match your playstyle.
Splatoon also features a singelplayer mode with a lot of divers levels that introduce new elements that make the gameplay even more interesting. The last boss fight is really great btw and will be in your mind for years to come.
The Online features are kind of horrible though, with no voice acting and option to play with friends. You can join them but it's there is no guarantee that you guys will be in the same team. Also the gear upgrade system is too random, which means that it's hard to make a load out fit your playstyle.
Overall the game is just released to soon. There are only 5 maps and 2 modes (one that unlocks at level 10). Also team matchmaking is coming in August. The game should have come out then. Nintendo announced new maps, modes and weapons aswel..
