Splatoon - Turf War Matches [4/12/16]
4Welcome to Splatoon ver. 2.7.0.! In this update, lots of weapons were tweaked (more notably the more common ones were nerfed) as well as the inclusion of "Sheldon's Picks Vol.1." (Surely that means there will be a Vol.2 in the future, yes?) In this video I'll cover 4 of the 8 new weapon set-ups.
First is the Wasabi Splattershot, which right off the bat will probably the be the most used of the 8 weapons. The Splattershot by itself is already a pretty good weapon (see the numerous Octoshot Replica/Tentatek Splattershot users). Now you we have a Splattershot with Splat Bombs and Inkstrike. Of all the Splattershot variants, this one will have the easiest time covering the ground for sure.
The Berry Splattershot Pro comes with Suction Bombs and Suction Bomb Rush. The Splattershot Pros got a bit of a buff to their range, so it wouldn't surprise me if players started using them more often.
The Tempered Dynamo Roller comes with Seekers and Killer Wail. The Dynamo Rollers got nerfed in this update, but Seekers got a buff to their movement speed and their coverage. Seekers unfortunately aren't exactly the best for neither of these stages.
The Permanent Inkbrush comes with Splat Bombs and Kraken. Now you have a very mobile main weapon with one of the most reliable sub weapons and most annoying special weapons/moves all in one set. So much for the Custom Ranged Blaster....
