0Victor Coste, a veteran of the American army, finds himself prisoner in an interrogation room in an unspecified place, forced to tell the recent events that have involved the former secret agent of the NSA Sam Fisher, and it is precisely through this flashback that will take place throughout the story of Splinter Cell: Conviction. Sam Fisher, after the murder of his friend Irving Lambert, is totally independent, both from America and from Third Echelon, devoured only by the desire to avenge the murder of his daughter Sarah. Sam finds himself in the Maltese capital of Valletta, where he is contacted by an old acquaintance of Third Echelon, Anna Grimsdottir (called Grim) and, after questioning the mercenary Dimitrij Gramkos, he learns that a local boss, a certain Andry Kobin , could be the real culprit in his daughter's death.
