A little recommendation: I try to create smooth transitions at some points of the video but sound difference is breaking the immersion. So you may turn off or reduce the sound and put your desired music to the background for a better experience.
Split/Second is my favorite racing game. Released in 2010 but still looking like a next gen game. All those VFX, animations, sounds, gameplay pretty well designed and fit together. Smooth drifts and entering the scene from a cool side view of the car, slipping through all those destruction, explosions and feeling like Paul Walker, feeling the speed, the competition, amazing powerplays that making mouths wide open... Even now effects of this game still looking better than current ones. I mean how many games allowing us to land a plane to eliminate the opponents? And in my opinion, this is the vision. For me this game never gets old. Every time I open, it gives me the same feeling and make me play it like my first time and then take my admiration: "Oh, I forget how bad this game was good!"
So, I decided to take a step further and customize my desktop with it. Created for myself but uploaded to Wallpaper Engine for those
