Spore - Shakr Tunneler
808"It would appear that an error was made in the previous entry... There are indeed "burrowers" in the Shakr Empire, however the term was used as a general name, not specifying a particular member. Further research has revealed a longer, larger, and far more fearsome member; the Shakr Tunneler.
The Tunnelers have a large set of scythe-like appendages to thrash and tunnel with, as well providing terrifying offensive abilities. Tunnelers have only been observed from afar, thus it is unclear if they have fur-like hairs or softer exo-skeleton surfaces underneath their bodies, but we can determine that their purpose is to prevent stray rocks and dirt from traveling into the Tunneler's outer shell, and to protect the Hivelings it may carry. All debris is funneled underneath the Tunneler. Due to their size and length, they can not travel backwards.
The Shakr Tunnelers have been observed in different sizes, most likely that they can fulfill their roles for the Empire both young and old. The largest Tunneler recorded rivaled the Matriarch, however theories suggest that they are not the biggest member of the Empire..."
I had to make some modifications to its back legs off-camera, since they were messing up the animation while walking. The back legs look dodgy, but it's the better alternative.
