2Welcome back to Sports Saturday and this week, we go back to 2006 and revisit one of my favorite games of the entire sixth generation.
Once upon a time, when EA Sports still made sports games worth paying top dollar for, you could make the argument that their flagship franchise actually wasn't Madden. It was their NCAA Football series that ran until 2014.
Why? Because it had a level of depth that made it equal parts challenging, engrossing and seriously replayable. It's the reason why in the now 15+ years since it's release, NCAA 07 is a game I still own and play every few months.
They don't make 'em like this anymore, sad to say.
