The first skill point in the game, not a particularly hard one to be honest. To get it, you have to win a one on one game of Ice Hockey 5-0. The easiest way to do this is to play cautiously and flame the other dude whenever he gets near you or the puck. The statues can be annoying to find, but you should have found most of them through your travels around the level. After finishing the level, I purchase the Swim ability off Moneybags and begin exploring as much of the home world as I now can, which leaves 10 gems and an Orb left to claim after the Climb ability has been purchased from world 2.
