Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage (Reignited Trilogy) - Part 32 Ripto's Arena (Final Boss & Ending)
I have all 64 Orbs at this point, as well as all 6,000 of the Gems! So not it was finally time to pay Ripto's a visit and end his Rage once and for all!
Ripto's was torturing some sheep with his new scepter until Spyro arrived. Spyro, being the attitude-oozing dragon that he is, invited Ripto to try his new wand out on him.
Ripto very much liked the idea!
----------
Listen to what Zoe says before the fight. To damage Ripto, you need to gather 3 charged-up orbs that Hunter drops from the sky.
No matter what combination of red, blue, and green Orbs, you get, the 3rd will always be the one that denotes the powerup you get:
- Red Orbs will give you Superflame.
- Blue Orbs give you Supercharge.
- Green Orbs give you a unique powerup known as Plasma Bombs.
Be careful, though, because Ripto can also use these Super Orbs to give himself some new attacks.
----------
Bring Ripto's health down, and he'll start a second phase where he conjures up a robotic Gulp that can also boost his attacks through the Super Orbs. Ripto's aim with his regular attack is also more precise, at he doesn't try to shoot where you are, but where you're going!
----------
For Ripto's third and final phase, the explosion from the Robot Gulp sends Hunter out of commission and release a bunch of Yellow Orbs. Ripto uses one of them to make a robot pterodactyl, while Spyro uses one to give him an infinite Superflame/Superfly powerup. Both fighters now face each other in the sky as Ripto sunk his arena into the lava.
From there on, you have to aim your Superflame at Ripto and his ride while also using your Superfly to chase after him and dodge his attacks. Once you drain his health this time, his robot pterodactyl explodes and he perishes in the lava.
The final Skill Point of Spyro 2 still involves defeating this final boss with taking ANY damage. I've edited this video of me repeating this video at least once until the point where I hit that Perfect!
----------
Fusing the retrieved Power Crystal's power with Spyro's Guidebook, Winter Tundra was released from Ripto's Rage, and all of Avalar was finally brought back to normal.
Spyro the Dragon and Sparx the Dragonfly went down to see their closest Avalar friends of Elora, Hunter, the Professor, and even Moneybags one last time before saying his goodbyes to them after all he's done to help them. Elora even rewards Spyro with a kiss on his head, and this time, he seems to like it!
Before Spyro would leave on his vacation, Elora and Hunter forced Moneybags to cough up all of the Gems he got from Spyro during his adventure, bringing his count from 6,000 all the way up to 15,000!
After putting in a few more coordinates, the Professor activates the superportal to Dragon Shores, and the one way Spyro can finally return to the Dragon Worlds. It was time for his much-deserved vacation!
----------
I skipped the credits this time, because they're exactly the same as when I first showed them in the end of my Spyro 1 playthrough of Reignited Trilogy, and they're still very long!
If you're curious to seeing the credits anyway, check them out, here!:

I still have one more video to show of this game, though. So stay tuned for when I cover everything in Dragon Shores!
