Spyro the Dragon (Reignited Trilogy) - Part 16: Wizard Peak
Wizard Peak is STILL one of my favorite levels of Spyro 1, all because of its multiple Supercharge paths!
Remember that, when you start this level, you can go around the buildings to reach new paths, find more Gems, and eventually reach those seemingly-unreachable blizzard wizards.
----------
The dragons you find here are:
Jarvis: An yellow and orange magician dragon that welcomes you to the level, and tells you that you can Supercharge through the big wizards. He likes this level just like I do.
Hexus: Yet another "Thank you for releasing me!" dragon, but once again, Reignited Trilogy put effort into making him unique, he no longer looks just like Jarvis, and his congratulates Spyro for his effort before thanking him.
Lucas: An orange dragon that explains to Spyro that there's a secret level in the waterfall area of the Artisans' Homeworld, and that the stones may reveal it. If you checked one of my previous videos of this game, you'd know that this secret leads to Sunny Flight. Also, this time, the stones light up BEFORE you even talk to him instead of after.
----------
Supercharge seems to work slightly different in this game compared to the original version of Spyro 1. You can get a Supercharge going as soon as you start running down the arrow path. Building up more power for speed and jump distance seems to take some time to do instead of just running down more slopes.
I think this made me miss some big jumps that I needed to make.
There are more blue egg thieves here, and one of them will just wait around and do nothing to run away from you. He really can't because of here he is! These thieves wield the final dragons eggs you'll find in Spyro 1.
