Spyro the Dragon (Reignited Trilogy) - Part 30: Jacques
Jacques or [ʒak], as it's pronounced, is the last regular boss of Spyro the Dragon. His level is the biggest of Spyro 1's boss levels with several branching paths, but Jacques, himself, still awaits you at one.
Watch out for another locked treasure chest, too.
----------
Because of the sheer size of this level, there manages to be two dragons here instead of just one:
Unika: A humble orange dragon that, like several other dragons, thanks Spyro for releasing him. I like his harp.
Revilo: A dragon that likes to coil up a bit like a snake. This time, Spyro asks for advice on how to defeat Jacques. Revilo's answer? Based on what another dragon told him, "Aim high in life, but watch out for flying boxes." Right...
These are the last two unique dragons in the game, by the way, but there will still be more dragons to save after this.
----------
Jacques-in-the-box is much freakier looking this time, and much more emotive, too, such as actually flinching when you flame him instead of instantly running away afterwards. Based on Revilo's advice, just dodge the boxes that he throws at you.
That advice isn't not at all unfounded, because a new Skill Point in this level requires you to defeat Jacques without taking a single hit from his boxes.
With that guy out of the way, and all of Dream Weavers' levels completed, it was now time to go to the final world: Gnasty's World...
