Spyro's Identity Crisis
16Spyro the Dragon flew on to PlayStation consoles in the late 90's. From day one he was a smash hit with gaymers everywhere! However, as the years went on, and original creator, Insomniac Games, signed their souls away to the mouse, spyro's adventures after the PS1 were shaky at best. While he had a gem here or there most of his games either rehashed the formula too much that it couldn't differentiate itself from the crowd, or were too different and alienated the established fanbase.
