Also called Sonic Robo Blast Tournament 2003 or SRB2 2k3, it is a multiplayer-only demo originally released on SAGE to show off new multiplayer features and its name is a reference to Unreal Tournament 2003.

This demo can be seen as a precursor to the Final Demo, as it included many of the engine's improvements and additions. For one, it introduces level headers, which allows multiplayer levels to have proper names as well as their own title cards. Singleplayer levels are not included in this version, although they still appear in the multiplayer menu. There are also many of these features implemented that would be seen in the following version, such as a new act clear screen (which originally used character artwork as the background), star posts, and continues. The character select screen is also revamped. This is also the first public release to include digital music in Ogg Vorbis format, so now whenever I hear the title screen music, it really makes me think more of that SRB2 Genesis game I played. I still think of SRB2 TGF when I hear the Greenflower themes, but for the others, I think they were already ahead of their time. Previous versions only used MIDI music, whereas version in particular only included Ogg music. Future versions would include both OGG and MIDI. Even with the different instrumentation, they're still pretty much the same.

In this release, all the multiplayer maps from Demo 4 and 4.32 are included. The ringslinger modes now have weapon rings, which are collected by picking them up and their effect lasted for a limited time and would extend the timer by picking up the same ring. The weapon rings are automatic ring, explosion ring, homing ring, infinity ring, and rail ring. Chaos mode is also introduced, where the point is to get the most score by destroying enemies that randomly spawn around the map. A NiGHTS gameplay stage is also included in this release, but I don't play it here.
