This time, we will test out how upgarding your RAM or your SSD can affect your old computer in case you want to repurpose, extend its longevity or all in all improve its performance. We tested three(3) scenarios, one is booting up windows, second is opening Adobe Photoshop and the third is opening a 2GB PSD file.
Wanna know the answer? It seemed that by the numbers, the SSD wins in almost all of the categories. However, upgrading the memory has a card up its sleeve, which is the user experience. SSD's can improve your experience with faster boot times, loading of apps and games, however, the responsiveness is a different parameter altogether.
