SSF4 Guy some odds and ends old..
Nothing to crazy or interesting maybe.. But just cuz I havn't seen it. Granted I don't watch many videos ethics so.. *rubs chin* Anyway some other old stuff I had on tape. Again I gave up on trying to get that one combo I was talking about from when the game came out. Although saying that I didn't really play the game during the summer so.. lol
Anyway first part is just showing some focus punishers that I don't see or have heard of people using. Obviously the most realistic one is the running over, as one option people seem to lean towards is focusing guys run stuff. So in the chance you actually do hit a 2 hit running over head you can actually get a bushin combo link after it for good damage.
The second part shows using the bushin flip it self as a unconventional reversal. It actually is pretty lenient and is pretty realistic. It then goes to show it also works in a situation where say the opponent is jumping and timing it as such so your EX hurricane kick will not track. So again its useful to just get out of something like that, and reset the match.
Then it goes to show the corner stuff. Now say the opponent is safe cross up jumping. I show that when guy is at neutral and ducking in this sort of situation guy actually will not be hit if he does not move. Again I show in this situation guys hurricane kick will wiff, so throwing out the bushin flip can be used to get out of this. Now note there is a bug in the game where if the opponent is to centered with guy, the game will not allow you to flip period, ex or anything. So what I show here is using the above information basically you start to stand up, input your motion for a EX flip in this case, then press down and 2 punchs. Since guy is not trying to block the cross up will not hit him. And he ex flips which tracks.
Of course you could always just do something like stand up, stutter then attack the other dude. But shrug just saying. And of course at the end of the day a ex flip is always leaning towards the side of gimmick. But again just showing its there.
Stuff like this I find in general when I have played the game actually is more useful as a trick to get out of the deep cross ups when you are leaning towards the thought of the opponent is going to actually go low after the jump.
The final is again nothing super useful per say, just showing its there sorta deal. Basically guy not combo after a clean running over head hit on adon. HOWEVER if you stand hp, which stands the character up into running over head(which although does not combo keeps the opponents stance for a bit to say)you CAN combo after running over. Sorta strange. Again not useful per say, but there.
On a completely unrelated note, I like how SRK has never put up any of my videos on the front page before. Yet post videos they say are old etc. So for that im happy that my videos have gotten as many views as they have with out there publicity. I guess they're mad about how I talked about them rigging evo and letting their friends of SRK play on diff versions of the game then they let other people play on etc before eh? I remember they threatened to ban me from all tournaments for talking about it, but its like ok your going to ban a sick guy that hasn't entered any tournaments in what 5 years now? lol
