Dropbox's "selective sync" feature allows you to store files securely in your cloud without keeping a local copy on your hard drive. The problem is that such files are accessible only via a browser--far beyond the reach of apps that can open them. Ghost Box (still in development) makes these files available by fetching them when you need them and returning them when you don't.
