MAP CONTEST ENTRY

(The videos also includes the spoilers for how to beat the map, so if you want to go hardcore and figure it out yourself, I would recommend not watching them)
This map is completely 100% finished, IF you do experience any glitches or issues with the map please notify me so they can be resolved.
I started out by testing other player’s maps, I was actually the first person to start making YouTube play through videos for various Dying Light maps made by Steam users. Then I heard about the Dying Light map contest and decided that I would like to try and take a stab at making my own maps. I had no clue of what I was doing, I opened up the developer tools and just stared at the screen like O__O (yeah my eyes got that huge).
I contacted one of my good mates Rick Grimes (who has made two amazing maps – Tower of Screams and Arena) I would highly recommend checking out his maps, and he taught me everything, HES A GENIUS! He told me how each tool worked and taught me for a countless number of hours until I was able to start building on my own. I had no idea what I wanted to make but I knew I wanted it to be BIG! And boy oh boy is this map big!
About 200+ hours were put into this map, 50 of those hours were used for testing alone, so the play through would be fluid for you the player

STORYLINE:
An evil overlord “Dreamer Goon” has struck hell on earth wiping out the human race leaving you the only survivor. Your mission is to fight off his evil henchmen and progress up the “Stairway to Hell”.
You will be given a wide arsenal of weapons to fight any obstacle and evil menace along the way… but it won’t be easy! You will literally have to fight like hell and if it’s not a zombie that kills you it will be one of the numerous nail biting parkour challenges where at any second you could plunge to your death.
FEATURES:
-Massive sprawling world with weird and wacky creations, giant
sized objects and an actually stairway
- Two Arenas where you will fight to the death – one in the beginning and one where you will kill the final boss
- HUGE hordes of infected, LITTERALLY thousands of zombies
-Wide range of Parkour challenges ranging from Easy to Difficult
-A wide arsenal of weapons ranging from swards, machetes, guns, grenades, throwing weapons and more (some of the added weapons aren’t even in the original Dying Light game)
-Original zombies beefed up for toughness & a challenge including the Dreamer Goon boss (not in the original Dying Light game)
-Dangerous and intense environment (not made for the faint of heart)
Videos of the map are encouraged I would love to see what the public thinks of my map.
Like I said this is my very first map, but a lot of time went into it so I hope you enjoy it!
More maps to come in the future? I think yes! Stairway to Hell will be updated when possible, I would have liked to do more with this map but considering the contest is over on the 11nth of May I had to drop a few ideas to make sure it was ready.
