Fix PS5/Xbox Controller Not Working In S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl On PC, Fix Controller/Gamepad Not Working With S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl on PC
Step 1) Restart PC
Step 2) Disable/Enable Steam Input
Step 3) Disable Xbox Controller in Steam Controller Settings (Keep Generic enabled) and disable Steam input for the game
Step 4) PlayStation Controller users Use DS4 Widnows/HidHide can also be used to fix controller issues
Step 5) Unplug hotas, wheel, pedals, Saitek button box, disconnect all the additional USB adapter connected to PC, disconnect additional joystick/controllers connected, disconnect arcade stick, disconnect multiple monitors, if you have any virtual controller (Vjoy etc.), disable/uninstall them.
Step 7) Unplug and re plug controller
Step 8) Disconnect everything from Bluetooth devices, remove devices and pair it and connect it again
Step 9) Launch Steam in big picture mode
Step 10) Close the game, Update Controller using PlayStation Accessories app/Xbox Accessories App (Connect controller using USB cable)
Step 11) Use wired connection
