I think I have figured out what was going on with the PDAs.

Also, I think I have figured out where my main NPC job went. It used to be gold, but I think getting the Brain Scorcher mission messed it up and changed it to a regular mission marker, for some reason. Maybe the player can only have two gold objectives active at a time and having more than two confuses it? I dunno, mostly just guessing.
