I found out about this a while ago, but when I originally tried to get in, I forgot to lure & kill the guard Garik, which resulted in me dying while walking down the hall to the back room.

So the way you're supposed to go about this:

1. Lob a grenade down the steps from outside

2. Lure Garik out near the exit (if you did step 1 right he should be trying to kill you)

3. Kill Garik when you get outside (beware of other enemies, as you'll piss off the entirety of Rostok when the grenade explodes)
