98Anno 1800 puts us on a little island at the dawn of the Industrial Revolution, where our job is to build a mighty settlement, produce many resources, become rich from trade, defend our residents and become all sorts of successful!
We begin with farmers, lots and lots of farmers, who will form the very core of our society. These hardy folk will go fishing, make clothes, work with sheep, grow potatoes and produce delicious schnapps.
We continue to expand, adding more and more residences and marvelling at the general attention to detail in the game, but what's that looming over the horizon... is it... the industrial age...?
