Build 2.6.3 is out! I decided to go for a change of weaponry on my Aegis Sabre and switched from 4xCF-227 Panther Repeaters to 4xTarantula GT-870 MK3. Ballistic weapons have a bit of shield penetration, so it is a good trade-off, in my opinion. However, it's necessary to be a lot more accurate when attacking enemies in this configuration. The player I got paired up with quit pretty early into the Pirate Swarm, but I kept playing and survived to Wave 17 in the Sabre.
