This was a spur-of-the-moment idea that I had: Capture random game play clips to answer the question, How does Star Citizen perform? As a casual solo player, this is 90% of my experience in Star Citizen. FPS is typically around 50 to 60 frames per second, except in populated areas, which it drops to 45.

If there's interest in this content with this hardware then I can explore taking more focused video footage. As it was, like I said, this was an off-the-cuffs idea that I had in the moment.

No upscaling tech being used in this video (no FSR, DLSS, or otherwise).

Graphics options typically set to medium.

#AMD #RedDevil #6900XT
#5800X3D
64 GBs mediocre RAM
NVME M.2 storage drive
Game resolution is 3072x1728

Note that hitching absolutely occurs regardless of your hardware, especially in cities or populated areas. Until Vulkan is patched in, this is true even for $3,000 PCs.
