Star Citizen Addicts Anonymous - Five for Ben Lesnick episode 11
Here is episode 11 of what has become Five for Ben Lesnick. This is your opportunity to ask question that Ben can answer directly. Each week Ben sets aside tie for me and each week I put out the call for questions. So leave those questions below in the comment section.
I changed up the video format again. Tell me how you like it. I will add the questions to the show notes tomorrow.
These are the questions I received for this week.
Captain Glume
Question for Ben:
When will we be able to be involved/own more then one Org where we can belong to roles in more then one?
The affiliate is a great way to join up or be part of a club but we need something like 1 or 2 "Secondary" orgs that are identical to Primary org membership but do not show up in your forum posts and whatnot.
As an example, I am a proud role carrying member of The Enablers and have several affiliate memberships as well but I also have a RP corp org that I plan on using to hold all the ships I want my close friends to be able to use.
But currently I am forced to hold my RP org in an alt account.
Thank you
Vanduul Veronica
When are we going to see Orgs being able to own ships and other items. These would be things donated to the org by members.
My org already has more than $1000 of designated group assets, but these are still officially held on an individuals account and I'd like to see that change.

A while back Wingman showed a prototype of in-game voice chat (player avatar "talked"/mimicked the player's voice); curious where that is at.

Hey: Ask Ben what illegal drugs there will be in the 'Verse. Just got "inspired" by Cheech & Chong Up in Smoke :P
Jump Debris
Question for Ben: How close are they to finishing the 64 bit FP conversion?
Thank you for asking the previous question. I like that we will be able to make our hangers into a base of operations.
This takes the stress off having to find more space if you are a pack rat like I am in MMO's. You can never have to much storage :)
Jump Debris
Alternate question for ben. Has CIG figured out a mechanic for moving cargo from one ship to another in space.
IE transfer of Ores from an Orion busy mining in an asteroid belt to a Hull C for transportation to market.
I'm more interested in this than the current progress of the 64 bit FP conversion.
Daniel Stapleford
I have complete faith in SC but one area i wish they would address is the cost of insurance.
How much is LTI actually worth? How much per month or whatever will insurance cost per ship (ballpark would be very helpful at this point.)?
Ben DeVeny
I have another one. As an officer of Operation Pitchfork, I have some interest in the statistics of the operation. We will be making gaming history.
Will the team have code in place to tally how many people/deaths/kills/dollars/credits/hull types/man hours/insurance claims/orgs/lone wolves/boardings/captures/and so on and so on?

Gotta love Ben and the CIG team making this game. I hope their business model for future income after launch is robust to keep development going to see where they can take this...that terraforming idea is superb and I want to do it..!?
This is something I heard Chris mention once in a 10 for the chairman awhile back. Could you ask Ben if they have ideas for income raising for continued development. Thanks.?
Edison Trent
