As a newcomer to this game, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. Star Citizen makes a lot of promises, but based on what I’ve seen so far, I have faith that this game will deliver. Where another one (coughs - No Man Sky - coughs) failed and let a people down who got that game.
Of course, faith alone isn’t going to guarantee that I’ll like the game, especially since it’s easy to make claims in print and have the public accept them as fact. Hence why I recently downloaded the Alpha. I’ve been playing it for the past few days and I have to say, I’m excited. From what little I’ve seen, Star Citizen is shaping up to be something great, but there’s still a lot to work out. It will be my main go to game for space sim fun and with all the extra add on like voce attack control and even HOTA support for the game, which makes it great. I am kick starter backer and even sub to the game every month but the one main reason why I went for it, it was the first game that would have the AMD Mantle support and will have the full DX 12 in the game once it goes live to take advantages of the mid range computer but it will not be ported to a console to make the game dumb down like a few others games that I have played which was ported over to consoles and now not so great to play since they have been dumb down to make it work on the consoles.
