Star Fox Adventures - the cringe nintendo classic I enjoy (teddyras)
3Nintendo put this game out right when they sold the developer to Microsoft. You totally can't tell. On top of that: this game was meant to come out on the N64 without starfox characters, then with starfox characters, then they had to gamecube it, then it got rushed out the door. As a result, holy moly the game gets wonky. Oh, and rare having to write dialogue out loud instead of having text on the screen lead to some real embarrassing moments like the dinosaur language (which was so cringe, when I played this game at a friend's house on release day, his mom asked me to play something else lol) and some lines just being kinda bad. Gameplay feels real strange with it being fox with no blaster or anything doing like lite zelda bs and not really having meaningful or interesting combos since you can spam like any of them and kill.
Regardless, I enjoy playing this every once and a while. I don't know why, part the cutscenes are funny, part it's memey, part, it's real ok gameplay wise and not really too bad, part nostalgia.
