Star Trek Discovery Season 3 Episode 2 Review
Star Trek Discovery Season 3 Episode 2 Review
The USS Discovery crashes in an unknown time and an injured Keyla Detmer is ushered to sick bay as her implant is damaged. Saru determines that the best course of action is to fix the extremely damaged ship before exploring the outside world. Meanwhile, Paul Stamets, who was put in a medically induced coma by Hugh Culber at the end of the last season, awakens and is nursed back to health by Culber. Saru and Tilly venture out and find a group of aliens who are oppressed by a man named Zareh. When Zareh threatens to steal their supplies and kill Tilly, Phillipa Georgiou, who followed them, attacks and threatens to kill Zareh, much to Saru's dislike. Georgiou lets Zareh go, and they return to the ship, which can't take off because of infectious ice. The Discovery is pulled out of the ice by the tractor beam of Cleveland Booker's ship, which hails them. They are able to reunite with Burnham, who tells them that she has been in the future a year, and finally found them.
