5I picked this up at a local Car-boot 2 weeks ago. It nearly killed me trying to get it to the car! Stops people running off with them out of the Arcade.
It was non working due to the slot mechanism being jammed with pennies. I believe it could be from the 1980's, as only pennies made before this time will work in the machine, later ones due to the higher metal content will not work. You can test them using a magnet, if the stick it's no good!
10p maximum payout on this machine. The clockwork mechanism is perfect and makes a lovely sound!
I'm not sure if this was a direct Star Trek machine as such, as the licence would have been infringed, so it's perceived as looking, trekking for a star. But it's spelt the same!
